The last few years were full of challenges and brought plenty of changes for Lithuanian businesses and the export sector. As the nearby eastern markets closed, the companies were forced to look for new opportunities in northern, western, or southern Europe, the US, or far Asian countries. In response to the current situation, the Government is strengthening its network of economic diplomats and creating paths to new markets that Lithuanians are still barely familiar with. Global Lithuanian professionals and their clubs abroad contribute to the diplomatic network as well as the spreading of knowledge and experience of the new markets in the circles of both diplomats and Lithuanian entrepreneurs. The partnership, also called #TeamLithuania, has already ripened some fruits for the economy of Lithuania.
